Architecture.

Starting his career as an architectural photographer, Logan developed a refined eye for light, space, and composition long before transitioning into film. Today, he combines his technical appreciation for 'the line' with a passion for cinematic storytelling. This foundational expertise in architecture naturally evolved into his specialist film work for the luxury hospitality sector; Logan understands how to capture the soul of a building, making him the filmmaker of choice for award-winning firms like Thisara Thanapathy.

The Holiday Bungalow - Ulpatha-Mathale Thisara Thanapathy

I filmed an architectural video for the Matale Holiday Retreat by Thisara Thanapathy Associates, set in the lush valley of Matale, Sri Lanka. The retreat sits lightly on the landscape—raised on pillars to allow breezes to cool the structure and stretch a slender form across the earth, gently framing the dramatic mountain backdrop without dominating it. Using a small, responsive crew, I captured both the material qualities of reclaimed timber and glass and the sensory experience of space, structure, and light. The film explores how the building’s long viewing deck and open circulation connect to the surrounding rice fields and mountains, creating a dialogue between architecture and environment.

Hotel Park Ave - Nomad Penthouse - New York

For Lore Group’s Hotel Park Ave NYC, I filmed a brand video focused on the Nomad Penthouse, a top-floor Midtown loft-style suite with expansive living spaces, floor-to-ceiling light and private balconies overlooking Park Avenue. Working with a small, nimble crew travelling from London to New York, the shoot was designed to fit seamlessly around the hotel’s day-to-day operations, capturing moments of waking up in the space, moving through the interiors and stepping out onto the balconies to experience the city from above. Using an unobtrusive approach to lighting, camera and sound, the film reflects the relaxed sophistication and lived-in luxury at the heart of the Lore Group brand.

Netscape - Oyler Wu Collaborative - 1883 Magazine - Hollywood

I filmed an architectural video documenting the Netscape Graduation Pavilion at SCI-Arc in Los Angeles — a temporary pavilion designed by Oyler Wu Collaborative for the 2011 graduation ceremony. The project features a sweeping, sail-like canopy of knitted rope, steel, and fabric creating a dynamic spatial canopy above the gathering space, blurring structure and surface through tensioned geometry and porous shade fields.

Lake Bungalow - Avissawella - Sri Lanka - Palinda Kannangara Architects

This architectural film observes a holiday bungalow set deep within a rubber plantation, allowing the building to unfold slowly through movement, light, and landscape. Shot with a restrained, minimal approach, the camera traces thresholds, overhangs, and open volumes as they respond to climate and terrain. Rather than explaining the architecture, the film dwells on how it feels to inhabit it—revealing a quiet, deliberate design shaped by context, material, and atmosphere.

Cheltenham Terrace - DGA Architecture - London

I filmed an architectural portrait for Dyer Grimes Architects’ Cheltenham Terrace project, combining on-camera interviews with the homeowners and the architect to tell the story behind the design. Shot with a small, responsive setup, the film captures the dialogue between client and architect alongside the restored Georgian fabric and contemporary interventions. Through careful camera movement, lighting, and sound, the film reflects both the vision and the lived experience of the house, offering insight into the project’s craft, process, and transformation.

Merimac - Dyer Grimes Architects - Surrey

I filmed an architectural documentary for Dyer Grimes Architects’ Merimac project, combining site footage with interviews to explore the story behind this bespoke family home. The house sits sensitively within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, balancing contemporary design with a rural setting and sustainable performance through features such as solar panels and ground-source heat pumps. Working with a small, responsive production, I captured both the design narrative and lived experience of the space — from floor-to-ceiling glass volumes and open-plan interiors to the dialogue between the clients and architect. The film reflects Merimac’s thoughtful integration of landscape, sustainability, and family life, offering insight into the creative process and the home’s unique architectural character.

Casa Julfa Artist Residency - France

I filmed a residency portrait at Casa Julfa focused on Corinne Aivazian and her practice within the space. Immersing myself in the daily rhythms of the house and landscape, I worked closely with Corinne to create a film that reflects her way of living, thinking, and making at Casa Julfa. The film captures the intimacy of process and place, offering a quiet, observational portrait shaped by collaboration, attentiveness, and shared time.

Moby Talks LA Architecture - 1883 Magazine - Hollywood

I filmed, produced, and edited this interview with Moby at his home in the Hollywood Hills for 1883 Magazine. While Moby is best known for his work in music, the film explores a different side of his creative life, using his LA home as a lens into the city’s distinctive and often surreal architectural landscape. Shot with a restrained, intimate approach, the piece captures a thoughtful conversation set against the backdrop of the Hollywood Hills, where music, design, and the weird world of Los Angeles architecture naturally intersect.

Dyer Grimes Architects, White Lodge, Surrey

I filmed an architectural video for White Lodge, Surrey by Dyer Grimes Architects, documenting the considered transformation of a traditional country house into a contemporary family home. Alongside the visual storytelling, I interviewed both the architects and the clients, developing a clear narrative through scripted conversations that reflect the design intent, lived experience, and collaborative process behind the project. Shot with a small, responsive crew, the film focuses on light, materiality, and spatial flow, capturing the dialogue between old and new while giving voice to the people who shaped the home.

Split Level House - Columbo - Sri Lanka

I filmed a residential project in Colombo, Sri Lanka, for the architects responsible, capturing the spatial qualities and design sensibilities that led to its recognition in House & Garden. With a small, attentive crew, the film focuses on form, light, and material — conveying how the home engages with its tropical context and reflects the architect’s vision. The resulting footage presents the architecture in motion, using thoughtful framing and natural light to reveal the character and rhythm of the space.
